🔔 Admit Card Released: Gauhati High Court Judicial Assistant Admit Card 2026 is now available for download from 25 May 2026. Written Examination (OMR) is scheduled on 31 May 2026 (Sunday), 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon at Guwahati.

⚠ Grievance Note: Candidates in the reject list who wish to file a grievance must email ghcrcps@gmail.com from their registered email ID with supporting documents, post name, registration number, and date of birth. Grievance deadline was 4 May 2026.

⚠ Negative Marking: 0.25 mark (one-fourth) is deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates must secure at least 40% (8 out of 20) in the Assamese Language segment to qualify. Assamese marks will not be added to the merit list.

Stage-I – Written Examination (120 Marks): OMR-based objective exam held on 31 May 2026. Candidates must qualify the Assamese Language segment with minimum 40% (8/20). Candidates equal to 3 times the vacancies (1:3 ratio) are shortlisted for Stage-II.

Stage-II – Interview / Viva-Voce (20 Marks): Shortlisted candidates from Stage-I appear for an interview. A candidate must secure at least 60% (12 out of 20) to be considered qualified.

Final Selection: Based on combined marks of the Written Exam + Interview. In case of a tie, the candidate with higher written exam marks gets preference. If still tied, the senior candidate by age is preferred.

ℹ Note: The Assamese Language segment marks (20 marks) are qualifying only and will not be counted while preparing the merit list for Stage-I.
