The State Bank of India (SBI), through its Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for engagement as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. A total of 7,150 training seats are available across 34 States and Union Territories under Advertisement No. CRPD/APPR/2026-27/07. Assam has been allocated 368 seats spread across 34 districts.
The online examination is tentatively scheduled for July 2026. Candidates can apply for only one state and can appear in this examination only once under this engagement project. Applicants must be proficient in one of the local languages of the state they are applying for.

Click Online Application Form in the Important Links section below. Click “New Registration” and enter your name, contact number, and email ID to generate a registration number and password.
Log in and fill in personal details, educational qualification, NAPS Enrolment ID, preferred state, three preferred districts, and local language choice (Assamese/Bengali/Bodo for Assam).
Upload scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration in the prescribed format.
Preview the application, verify all entries, and pay the fee online (₹300/- for General/OBC/EWS; Nil for SC/ST/PwBD).
Submit and download the system-generated confirmation page. Hard copy of the application is NOT to be sent to SBI.
