🟢 Result Declared: The SBI CBO Result 2026 for the Circle Based Officer online exam held on 14 March 2026 has been officially declared on 30 June 2026. Candidates can download their scorecard and check the merit list from sbi.co.in or the direct link below.

ℹ The final merit list uses a 75:25 weightage: Online Test marks (out of 170) are scaled to 75 marks, and Interview marks (out of 50) are scaled to 25 marks. Total score out of 100 determines merit.

Online Examination: The merit list after the online exam is drawn Circle-wise and Category-wise based on aggregate marks. Around 3 times the number of vacancies per Circle and Category are shortlisted for Screening, subject to the Bank’s minimum qualifying aggregate score.

Screening: The Screening Committee reviews applications and documents to verify that candidates meet the experience criteria and that their job profile (certified by employer) substantially matches that of a Scale-I Generalist Officer at SBI. Applications not meeting this criterion will be rejected. The Bank’s decision is final.

Interview (50 Marks): Candidates who clear Screening appear for an interview. They must achieve the minimum qualifying marks set by the Bank to be considered for final selection. Candidates must qualify both the Online Test and Interview separately.

Final Merit List: Drawn Circle-wise and Category-wise using 75:25 weightage — Online Test (out of 170) converted to 75 marks, Interview (out of 50) converted to 25 marks. Combined score out of 100 determines final merit.

Local Language Proficiency Test: Provisionally selected candidates must pass this test before joining. Candidates who studied the specified local language as a subject up to 10th or 12th standard are exempt from this test.

⚠ Corrigendum Notice (11 Feb 2026): The earlier requirement for candidates from private Scheduled Commercial Banks to draw a minimum annual gross salary of ₹9.50 lakhs has been removed. This clause no longer applies.

Log in using your Registration Number and Password or Date of Birth.

Your result or scorecard will appear on the screen. Download and save it as a PDF for future reference and further stages of the selection process.

🔔 Important: No hard copy of the result or scorecard will be sent by post. Candidates must download and keep a copy of the scorecard for all future stages.

There are 2273 total vacancies: 2050 regular and 223 backlog positions across all Circles. The Guwahati Circle covering Assam and other North East states has 79 posts (68 Regular + 11 Backlog).

After the online test, shortlisted candidates go through a Screening stage for job profile verification. Those who clear screening appear for an Interview (50 marks). Provisionally selected candidates must also pass a Local Language Proficiency Test before joining.
