The Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare (TTWD), Government of Assam, has opened online applications for the SIRISH Scholarship 2026. Students and individuals belonging to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi communities in Assam can apply for various pre-matric, post-matric, and higher education financial assistance schemes through the official SIRISH portal. The online application window is open from August 26, 2026, to October 5, 2026.

SIRISH Scholarship 2026 – Overview
The Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare (TTWD), Government of Assam, is the implementing body of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare schemes. The Directorate runs a wide range of welfare programmes covering scholarships for school and college going students, skills and entrepreneurship support, start-up grants-in-aid for self-employment, and grants-in-aid to women Self Help Groups (SHGs).
Every year, TTWD invites applications from students and stakeholders of the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community for its scholarships and welfare schemes. Since the financial year 2020–21, the Directorate has moved to a fully online application system called the SIRISH Portal, replacing the earlier time-consuming paperwork-based process.

How to Apply for SIRISH Scholarship 2026
Scroll down to the Important Links section below and click on the Online Application Form link to visit the official SIRISH Portal.
On the new page, click “Don’t have an account?? Register”, enter your basic details, and click the Register button.
Click the Online Application Form link again and log in with your newly created account.
After login, you will see a list of all available scholarships and schemes. Select the applicable scheme.
Enter all your personal and educational details as required in the form.
Upload all required documents and click the Submit button at the end.
Don’t forget to take a printout of the submitted application form for your records.

The starting date to apply online for SIRISH Scholarship 2026 is 26th August 2026.
The last date to apply online for SIRISH Scholarship is 5th October 2026.
The mode of application for SIRISH Scholarship is online, through the official SIRISH Portal.
Permanent residents of Assam belonging to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community with an Aadhaar-seeded bank account, a valid TGL/Ex-TGL caste certificate, and a family income not exceeding ₹5 lakh per annum are eligible.
As of now, online applications are being accepted only for the first seven (7) welfare schemes out of the full list of schemes offered by TTWD.
