Assam Career: Northeast Frontier (NF) Railway has released an official notification for the recruitment of 56 Sportsperson vacancies under Northeast Frontier Railway, Maligaon. The selected candidates will be posted in various Divisions (Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding & Tinsukia) or at the N.F. Railway Headquarters depending on sports requirements and vacancy availability.

The online application process will remain active from 16th September 2025 to 15th October 2025. Eligible candidates are invited to apply through the official recruitment portal.

NF Railway Recruitment 2025 – Vacancy Details

1. Pay Level 5 or 4 (Grade Pay ₹2800 / ₹2400)
No of posts: 5
Age Limit: 18 – 25 years (as on 01-01-2026)
Educational Qualification: Graduate or equivalent examination from a recognized University/Institution.
Sports Norms: Minimum 3rd position in Category-B championships/events.

2. Pay Level 3 or 2 (Grade Pay ₹2000 / ₹1900)
No of posts: 16
Age Limit: 18 – 25 years (as on 01-01-2026)
Educational Qualification: Passed Class 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent from a Govt.-recognized Board/Institution.
Sports Norms:

Represented the country in any of the Category-B championships/events
OR At least 3rd position in any of the Category-C championships/events
OR At least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships
OR At least 3rd position in National Games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympic Association
OR At least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championships organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities
OR 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)

3. Pay Level 1 (Grade Pay ₹1800)
No of posts: 35
Age Limit: 18 – 25 years (as on 01-01-2026)
Educational Qualification: Passed Class 10th (Matriculation) / ITI / NAC granted by NCVT.
Sports Norms (any one):

Represented the country in any of the Category-C championships/events
OR At least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
OR Represented a state or equivalent unit, except in marathon and cross-country with at least 8th position in Senior National championships only.

Application Fee of N F Railway Recruitment

• Others: ₹ 500/- (Five Hundred only)
• SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Women, Minority and Economic Backward Class candidates: ₹ 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only).
