Selection Process
Selection is made through a Viva Voce interview alone. Among eligible candidates for a village, whoever scores the highest marks in the Viva Voce is selected as Gaon Pradhan of that village. Preference is given to family members of a former Gaon Pradhan, and the views of the concerned Mouzadar are also taken into consideration.

Obtain the Standard Form of application, Part IX of the Assam Gazette, from the Important Links section below or a local Gazette-form stationery shop.
Fill the form and clearly write the name of the village for which you are applying as Gaon Pradhan.
Affix a passport-size photograph and keep two spare copies for office use.
Attach self-attested copies of all required documents, including Jamabandi, Mouzadar certificate, and Bakijai Clearance Certificate.
Drop the complete application in the receiving box at the Land Revenue Branch, Integrated DC Office, Kamrup, Amingaon (1st Floor) on or before 20 August 2026.
