Government Employee: The candidate should not be a government employee.
Political Party: The candidate should not be a member of any political party.
Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and of sound mind.
Insolvency: Should not have been declared as an insolvent or defaulter in payment of Government dues.
Social Status: Must be a person of high standing and command with a respectable position in society.
