Assam Career: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Jorhat 2024 has recently invited application for the Recruitment of 2 Office Assistant & Peon posts on contractual basis in the Office of the Legal Aid Defense Counsel System (LADCS) under District Legal Services Authority, Jorhat as per the LADCS Modified Scheme, 2022 of NALSA. Interested and Eligible candidates may appear in walk-in-interview as per the schedule given below.

  • Education Qualification: Graduation
  • Knowledge in Basic Computer Applications like MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, DTP (English & Assamese) and Internet etc..

2. Peon

Monthly Remuneration: ₹ 12000/-
Educational Qualification: Minimum Class VIII Passed but not Graduate.

Other Criteria of Jorhat Judiciary Recruitment

Citizenship: The candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined in Article 5 & 6 of the Constitution of India.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum: 21 Years
  • Maximum: 40 Years as on date of Advertisement.
  • Age Relaxation as per Govt. Rule.

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidate(s) must have a valid Employment Exchange Registration Number for the state of Assam.

How to Apply for Jorhat Judiciary Recruitment?

Walk-in-Interview for Office Assistant (Post No-01) will be held on 02/06/2O24 at 10.00 AM and the Walk-in-Interview for Peon (Post No-02) will be held on 30/06/2024 at 10.00 AM The registration process for Walk-in-Interview in both selections will Start at 8,30 AM till 10.30 AM. No candidate will be allowed to register for the walk in interview after 10.30 AM in any circumstances.

After completion of Walk-in-Interview for the engagement of Office Assistant (Post No-01), short listed candidates from the Walk-in-Interview process will be called for Computer Skill Test. The result of Walk-in-Interview for both engagements along with date, time and place of the Computer Skill Test will be informed in due course of time only via the official website of Jorhat District Judiciary (https://jorhat.dcourts.gov.in/).

Required Documents:

To appear in the Walk in Interview in both engagements, the candidates will have to bring self certified/attested copies of the following documents:

  1. Standard Form as published in Assam Gazette in part IX to the issuing authority.
  2. H.S.L.C admit card for age proof (Post No – 01).
  3. H.S.L.C admit card / School Certificate for age proof (Post No – 02).
  4. Educational qualification certificate.
  5. Computer education certificate. (Post No – 01)
  6. Certificate of higher education, if any (Post No – 01).
  7. 02 (Two) nos of passport size photographs,
  8. Employment Exchange certificate.
  9. Experience certificate, if any.
