ISRO Recruitment 2026 – Overview
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), under the Department of Space, Government of India, has released an official employment notification through the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB) for the recruitment of 175 Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ posts at constituent ISRO Centres/ Units (Group ‘A’ Gazetted) and at the Autonomous Body PRL (Group ‘A’ Non-Gazetted). BE/B.Tech graduates in Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science can apply online from 27th August 2026 to 16th September 2026.
Selected candidates will be placed at Level 10 of the Pay Matrix with a minimum basic pay of ₹56,100/- per month. Selection is through a Written Test (CBT) followed by a Personal Interview — there is no requirement of a GATE score for this recruitment cycle.

Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ – Level 10 of Pay Matrix
₹56,100 Basic Pay / month
In addition to basic pay, selected candidates are eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance and other benefits including CGHS medical coverage, LTC and pension under NPS/UPS as per Central Government rules.
