Assam Career: Gauhati University 2024 has recently released the official notification of Gauhati University B.Ed Common Entrance Test (GUBEDCET) 2024 for admission in to Gauhati University B.Ed. Course, 2024-2025 session. All the interested and eligible candidates who want to pursue B.Ed. courses under the university must appear and qualify in this entrance exam mandatorily.

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their online application in official application portal for the admission into Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) courses under Gauhati University w.e.f. 17th June 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for Gauhati University B Ed Admission

A candidate may be allowed to appear in the GUBEDCET-2024 provided that he/she has passed the BA/ BSc/ BCom or MA/ MSc/ MCom or equivalent degree programme from a recognized Board/ University with at least 50% marks (or 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD).

Application Fee of GUBEDCET

Students have to pay ₹ 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) as application fee to complete online application process for Gauhati University B.Ed. Common Entrance Test, 2024.

Mode of Payment: Students need to pay the application fee through online payment gateway using their ATM card, Internet Banking or UPI. Note that no other mode of payment is accepted.

Note: If there is any bank transaction fee then students have to pay it while paying the application fee.

GUBEDCET 2024 Details

➢ To select eligible students to enroll for Gauhati University B.Ed Admission, all interested students must appear for a common entrance test. GUBEDCET exam structure is as mentioned below:

Total Marks: 400 Marks

Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with 4 Options.

Duration of Test: 2 Hours (120 Minutes)

Medium of Test: The test Booklet and OMR will be in English. The test will be OMR based.

Negative Marking: There will be 4 marks for correct answer and (-1) for wrong answer. No negative marks for unanswered questions.

GUBEDCET Examination Centres:
