FREMAA Recruitment 2026 – Overview

The Flood and River Erosion Management Agency of Assam (FREMAA) has released an employment notification for 12 posts of IT Assistant, Accounts Assistant and Field Assistant on a contractual basis in the Assam Agroforestry Development Board (AADB).

This recruitment spans three distinct roles – a technical IT Assistant, Commerce/Finance-qualified Accounts Assistants, and Field Assistants for ground-level survey and coordination work. Remuneration is fixed during negotiations within the specified range for each post, inclusive of local taxes.

💰 All remuneration figures are inclusive of local taxes and will be fixed during negotiations at the time of offer.

Eligibility Criteria (Post-wise)

1. IT Assistant (1 Post)

•Essential: B.Tech. or equivalent degree in IT, Computer Science, Geoinformatics or allied disciplines, with MS Office proficiency and good communication skills.

•Desirable: M.Tech./Master’s degree, 1+ years IT experience, and experience in ADB/World Bank funded projects.

2. Accounts Assistant (2 Posts)

•Essential: Graduate in Commerce/Finance with minimum 55% marks, knowledge of Tally ERP 9.0, and proficiency in MS Office.

•Desirable: Knowledge of PFMS, 1+ years’ similar experience in Govt./Semi-Govt. organizations, and externally-aided project experience.

3. Field Assistant (9 Posts)

•Essential: Graduate in any discipline (55% aggregate), MS Office proficiency, fluency in English, Hindi and Assamese, and good report-writing skills.

•Desirable: 1+ years’ field experience in census/agricultural/forest surveys, coordinating trainings, or ADB/World Bank project work. Candidates from project areas preferred.
