🔔 Applications Invited: APSC has released a notification for 11 Assistant Geologist posts in the Directorate of Geology and Mining, Assam. Apply online from 16 June – 15 July 2026. M.Sc. in Geology or Applied Geology required.

The pay scale is ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000 with Grade Pay of ₹12,700/- in Pay Band-4 as per Assam Government pay rules.

Candidates must hold at least a Second Class (45%) in M.Sc. / M.Sc. Tech / M.Tech in Geology or Applied Geology (including Integrated M.Sc. Tech) from a recognized university or institution.

Yes. Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam and must submit a PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) for educational purpose or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate from any Assam exchange.
