DUAT 2026 Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
The entrance test is designed to evaluate subject-specific knowledge through an OMR-based format.
- Mode: Offline (OMR Based).
- Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Total Marks: 100 Marks.
- Duration: 2 Hours.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.
- Special Case (Mathematics): 75 questions of 2 marks each (Total 150 marks) with 0.5 negative marking.
Eligibility Criteria for DU PG Admission
Candidates must fulfill the subject-specific eligibility to appear for DUAT 2026.
- MA/MSc/MCom: Bachelor’s Degree with Major/Honours in the concerned subject (min 45% marks) OR Bachelor’s Degree with 50% in the subject and 45% aggregate for General Programme students.
- M.Ed.: At least 50% marks in B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed., or B.El.Ed.
- MCA: BCA/B.Sc. (IT/CS) or any Graduate with Mathematics at 10+2 level (min 50% marks).
- Lateral Entry (FYIPGP): Completion of 6th Semester under NEP 2020 with minimum 60 Credits in the relevant subject.
Appearing Candidates
Students currently in their final semester (6th Sem) of undergraduate studies (whose results are awaited) are fully eligible to apply and appear for DUAT 2026. Admission will be provisional pending final results.
