Scroll down to the Important Links section and click the “One-Time Registration” link, or visit scholarships.gov.in directly.

A new webpage will open. Enter your required details (Aadhaar, mobile number, name, date of birth) in the portal and complete your One-Time Registration.

After registration, click on “Online Application Form” and log in using your registered credentials (Application ID and Password).

Fill in all details carefully — personal information, academic details, institution details, bank account details, and domicile state. Select the correct SC Scholarship scheme (Pre-Matric or Post-Matric).

Upload all required documents — Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, and Bonafide Certificate — in the specified format and size.

Click on “Submit” and take a printout of the submitted application for future reference. Your application will be forwarded to your institution for verification.

The last date to apply online for the Assam SC Scholarship 2026 is 30 September 2026. Applications must be submitted through the National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in.

There are three scholarship components: Pre-Matric Component-I (Class IX & X), Pre-Matric Component-II (Class I–X for children of parents in unclean occupations), and Post-Matric (for students in post-10th level courses including degree and PG).

Required documents are: Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook (Aadhaar-seeded active account), Caste Certificate (from District Commissioner’s office), Income Certificate (from Circle Officer), and Bonafide Certificate from the Head of Institution. Component-II also requires an unclean occupation certificate.

For Pre-Matric (Component-I) and Post-Matric scholarships, the family income limit is ₹2.5 Lakhs per annum from all sources. For Pre-Matric Component-II (unclean occupation), there is no income ceiling.

Applications must be submitted online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at scholarships.gov.in. First-time applicants need to complete the One-Time Registration before filling the application form.

The scholarship amount is disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly to the student’s Aadhaar-linked bank account. Students must ensure their bank account is active and linked to their Aadhaar number to avoid payment failures.
