Assam Higher Secondary Admission 2024
Assam Career: Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has launched a platform called the “Darpan”, basically an online web portal for Assam Higher Secondary Online Admission. The HS admission process is to be started from 23rd April 2024. Students who have passed HSLC exam this year may apply online through this web portal for first year courses under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council for the academic session 2024-2025. Using the Darpan Portal, students can take admissions digitally without visiting the institutions.

Assam Higher Secondary Admission 2024 Website
Assam HS Admission 2024 for Higher Secondary 1st year classes will be completed through “Darpan”, the common portal for online HS admission.
The principals of colleges, HS schools and senior secondary schools, willing to avail this facility, can register for the same in online mode.
For participation in the process, Institutions with valid AHSEC codes have to create their profiles by providing their Institutions’ details into the portal by visiting www.darpan.ahseconline.in or www.ahsec.assam.gov.in .
Assam Higher Secondary Admission Fee Details
As per the official notification, the Assam Higher Secondary 1st year admission fee was waived by the Assam government and all students will able to get admissions at government-recognized institutions at zero fee. Assam HS 1st year online admission will be free of cost and all eligible students will not have to pay any fee to get admission.
How to Apply for Assam Higher Secondary Admission?
Students who fulfil all the required eligibility criteria to get admission in AHSEC HS 1st year are able to submit their online applications on the official portal of AHSEC. Also, a video guide and some steps to apply online are given below, students can follow the following steps to complete their admission process.

| ➥ A portal will load, click on Register a new Account link. |
| ➥ Next you need to enter your personal and educational details as required by the portal. |
| ➥ Upload scan copy of passport sized photograph and 10th mark sheet. |
| ➥ Next choose a 4 digit Login PIN and click on register button. |
| ➥ Next again click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link and login again. |
| ➥ Select your desired course and colleges/ schools. You may choose maximum five institutions in order of their preference for admission. |
| ➥ At the end, click on submit button and take a print of submitted form for future reference. |
| ➥ Please do check the portal regularly for updates. You will be notified through the portal which institution(s) you have been selected for admission. |

HS 1st Year Online Admission Merit List
The category-wise Assam HS Admission 2024 Merit List will be available on the Darpan portal itself. The merit list will be published by the concerned institutions.
Accordingly, the seat allotment will be available online for all students and they have to get admitted to their desired or allotted institution/ colleges within stipulated time frame.
The merit list is going to be published after the completion of online application process. Students will have to select the school or college of their choice within stipulated time by visiting Darpan portal .
How to Check Assam Higher Secondary Admission Merit List?
Students who have submitted their online applications for admission into Higher Secondary 1st year under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council will be able to check their admission merit list after the official release. The merit list will be prepared by the colleges and schools on the basis of their performance in the HSLC/AHM examination. AHSEC has asked all the colleges and schools to prepare their merit list within the stipulated time frame. Also, AHSEC notified that the merit list for HS 1st year admission will be published on the DARPAN portal and students will be able to check it by login on the portal. Students can follow the easy steps listed below to get their merit list.

| ➥ A new webpage will load – enter your Mobile Number, Date of Birth, Security PIN and click Login. |
| ➥ Darpan portal dashboard will be opened. Click on Application Submitted button. |
| ➥ It will display the list of names of all of your submitted application for colleges/schools. |
| ➥ Against the name of each school/ college, you will get the details about your admission request. |
| ➥ If you are shortlisted in the merit list, click on the Accept Admission Request link and accept your admission in the desired college/school. |
