Eligibility Criteria for Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2025

Age Limit

• Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as on 01 January 2027
  (Born between 02 January 2003 and 01 January 2007).
  Upper age relaxation up to 26 years for valid CPL holders.
• Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical): 20 to 26 years as on 01 January 2027
  (Born between 02 January 2001 and 01 January 2007).

Marital Status

• Candidates must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course.

Educational Qualification

Flying Branch

• Passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics with minimum 50% marks each, and
• Graduation (3 years) with minimum 60% marks, or
• BE/B.Tech with 60% marks, or
• Passed Section A & B of AMIE or Aeronautical Society of India with 60% marks.

Ground Duty (Technical Branch)

• Passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics with 50% marks each, and
• Minimum 4 years degree in relevant Engineering/Technology disciplines with 60% marks.
  (Disciplines include Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, AI, Data Science, Robotics, etc.)

Ground Duty (Non-Technical Branches)

Includes:

• Weapon Systems (WS)
• Administration & Logistics
• Accounts
• Education
• Meteorology

Graduates in any discipline with 60% marks or relevant degree as per branch requirement.

Examination Fee

• AFCAT Entry: ₹550 + GST (Non-refundable)
• NCC Special Entry: No fee required

Selection Process

2. AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) Interview
3. Medical Examination
