The Assam D.El.Ed Result 2026 has been officially announced by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam on 27th July 2026. The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam has declared the result of the Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2026 for admission into the 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course for the session 2026–2028 on 27 July 2026. The PET was conducted on 12 July 2026 (Sunday) in OMR-based offline mode.
Candidates who appeared in the PET can now check their individual marks, total score, rank, and merit list position by logging into the official portal at scertpet.co.in using their Registered Mobile Number and Date of Birth. A total of 4,150 seats are available across 64 Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) in Assam. Phase 1 Online Counselling begins from 28 July 2026.

The SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET 2026 Result was declared on 27 July 2026. The result and merit list are available at scertpet.co.in.

District-wise merit lists are prepared. Allotment is made to TEIs in the candidate’s district based on merit and seat availability. 30% seats are reserved for Science stream and 70% seats for Arts and other streams per district.
There are 4,150 D.El.Ed seats across 64 Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) in Assam for the academic session 2026–2028.
Phase 1 Online Counselling for D.El.Ed 2026 starts on 28 July 2026 and goes till 31 July 2026. Round 1 seat allotment is on 3 August 2026, followed by admission and document verification on 4–6 August 2026.
