Eligibility Criteria of Kamrup Recruitment:
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 30 years and not more than 65 years as on the date of publication of the advertisement.
Educational Qualification: The candidate is required to have passed the 10th standard or matriculation from a recognized institution or board.
Other Criteria:
| A) Candidate should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the area in respect of which he /she seeks appointment. |
| B) Candidate should be physically fit and have sound mind. |
| C) Candidate should not have been declared as an insolvent or defaulter in payment of Govt dues. |
| D) Candidate should not be a Government employee. |
| E) Preference shall be given to the family members of Gaon Pradhan and views of the Mouzadar shall be taken into consideration. |
| F) Candidate should have landed property /immovable property in his/her name in the area in which he/she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan. |
| G) Candidate should not be a member of any Political Party. |
| H) Candidate should be a person of high status and command and have a respectable position in the society. |
| I) Candidate should have worked/ volunteered for the advancement of the Government policies and programmers and rendered assistance in natural calamities. |
| J) Candidate should not have more than 2 (two) living children from a single or multiple partner. |
| k) Candidate should furnish a self- affidavit that the applicant does not have more than two living children from a single/multiple partner. |
