The IOCL Admission 2026 notification has been officially released for B.Sc Nursing and GNM courses at the Assam Oil Division (AOD), Digboi. Indian Oil Corporation Limited is inviting online applications from eligible female candidates for 60 total seats (30 for B.Sc Nursing at AOCN and 30 for GNM at AOSN) for the 2026–27 academic session. Admission to B.Sc Nursing is based on the SSUHS CEE-2026 score, while GNM admission is based on the GNMEE-2026 rank. Selected candidates receive a monthly stipend, free hostel accommodation, and a compulsory one-year paid internship at the AOD Hospital.

IOCL Digboi Nursing Admission 2026 – Overview
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), through its Assam Oil Division (AOD) at Digboi, has opened admission for the B.Sc Nursing (at AOCN) and GNM (at AOSN) courses for the 2026–27 session. Only female candidates are eligible. Both institutes are located next to the IOCL (AOD) Hospital in Digboi, affiliated to SSUHS, Guwahati and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
These institutes operate as CSR-funded projects of Indian Oil, so no fees are charged. Preference goes to applicants from economically weaker sections. Selected candidates receive free hostel, medical attention, uniform, and a monthly stipend throughout the course, followed by a paid working internship at AOD Hospital.

ℹ DLC Reservation: 6 seats per course are reserved for candidates from Digboi Legislative Constituency (DLC) — Voter ID of self or parent required as proof. B.Sc Nursing also has 1 seat for Physically Handicapped (OH) candidates with 40–50% locomotor disability of the lower extremity. Unfilled reserved seats move to UR merit in order.
Eligibility Criteria
B.Sc Nursing – Eligibility
•Passed 10+2 with Science — at least 45% aggregate in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) for General/OBC/EWS (40% for SC/ST).
•English is compulsory with pass marks. Theory and Practical must be cleared individually in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
•State Open School and NIOS candidates with Science and English are also eligible.
•Colour blind candidates may apply if they use corrective contact lenses or spectacles.
GNM – Eligibility
•Passed 10+2 with English and at least 40% aggregate in qualifying exam (3 core elective subjects, English excluded but pass marks needed). SC/ST get 5% relaxation per INC norms.
•Also eligible: 10+2 with 40% in vocational ANM course or Health Care Science stream.
•Registered ANM candidates with pass marks from State Nursing Registration Council are also eligible. Science is preferred but not mandatory for GNM.

Working Internship (1 Year after course)
•Compulsory 1-year working internship at AOD Hospital (extendable up to 2 years at IOCL discretion).
•B.Sc Nursing internship pay: ₹16,250/- per month at AOD Hospital | ₹17,250/- per month at other IOCL hospitals.
•GNM internship pay: ₹15,250/- per month at AOD Hospital | ₹16,250/- per month at other IOCL hospitals.
•Accommodation is NOT provided during the internship period.
