- Chemistry: 2 [UR:1, OBC:1]

- Electrical Engineering: 7 [UR:2, OBC:2, SC:2, EWS:1]
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for the eligibility of the candidates is 30 years as on the closing date of application. i.e., as of 16.08.2024.

Other Criteria of Bureau Of Indian Standards Recruitment
Age Relaxation: Permissible relaxation in upper age limit for different categories are as under:
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD (UR/EWS): 10 years
- PwD (OBC): 13 years
- PwD (SC/ ST): 15 years
Educational Qualification:
Civil Engineering:
1) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent with not less than sixty percent marks in aggregate [fifty percent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes]
2) Having a valid GATE score of 2022/2023/2024. The GATE score must be valid as of 16.08.2024 (closing date of application).
Electrical Engineering:
1) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent with not less than sixty percent marks in aggregate [fifty percent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes]
2) Having a valid GATE score of 2022/2023/2024. The GATE score must be valid as of 16.08.2024 (closing date of application).
Chemistry:
1) Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences or equivalent [in Chemistry discipline only] with not less than sixty percent marks in aggregate [fifty percent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes].
2) Having a valid GATE score of 2022/2023/2024. The GATE score must be valid as of 16.08.2024 (closing date of application).
