The Indian Navy 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme 2026 notification has been officially released for 60 vacancies in the January 2027 course at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala. Unmarried male and female candidates who passed 10+2 with at least 70% marks in PCM can apply online from 29 May 2026 to 18 June 2026. Shortlisting for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview will be done strictly based on the NTA JEE Main 2026 All India Common Rank List (CRL).
The Indian Navy has released an official notification for the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) – January 2027 for both unmarried men and women candidates. This prestigious scheme offers 60 vacancies across Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering disciplines.
Selected candidates will undergo a 4-year B.Tech programme at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala and be awarded a B.Tech degree by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Upon successful completion, they will be commissioned as Permanent Commissioned Officers in the Technical Branch of the Indian Navy.

Selection Process
Shortlisting: Naval Headquarters shortlists applications based on JEE (Main) 2026 All India Common Rank List (CRL).
SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates called for SSB interviews at Bengaluru / Bhopal / Kolkata / Visakhapatnam from September 2026 onwards.
Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by SSB undergo medical examination as per Indian Navy standards.
Common Merit List: Final merit list prepared based on SSB marks and medical fitness. Appointment subject to Police Verification, Character Verification, and vacancy availability.
