Central Silk Board Recruitment 2026 – Overview
Central Silk Board (CSB), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, has released an employment notification for 14 Young Professional vacancies on a purely contractual basis at its Central Office in Bengaluru and its Institutes/Units across India.
This is a golden opportunity for Chartered Accountants, MBA and M.Com graduates with government-sector accounting experience. The engagement is purely contractual for an initial 2 years, extendable based on performance, and does not create any right to a regular government appointment.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
•Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of experience in the Government sector.
OR
•MBA / M.Com with 5+ years of experience in the Government sector.
Post-Qualification Experience Required
•Government accounting of autonomous bodies, Tally Prime, procurement procedures in Government, scrutiny of TA/DA bills and medical bills, pension, internal audit, and statutory compliances.
📌 Age Limit: Upper age limit is 35 years as on 1st July 2026 (i.e., the year of advertisement).

Young Professional – Grade 3
₹70,000 / month
Consolidated monthly pay for an initial contractual engagement of 2 years, extendable based on performance review and CSB approval. The engagement does not create an employer-employee relationship with the Board.
