NIT Silchar Recruitment Details
1. Graduate Apprenticeship Trainee (Engineering)
Number of Vacancy: 07 posts
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by statutory University or equivalent. Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the Central Government as equivalent to degree.
Stipend: ₹ 9000/-
2. Graduate Apprenticeship Trainee (Non-Engineering)
Number of Vacancy: 06 posts
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (regular) in relevant field Granted by statutory University or equivalent.
Stipend: ₹ 9000/-
3. Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeship Trainee
Number of Vacancy: 11 posts
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a state council or board of technical education established by Government or equivalent.
Stipend: ₹ 8000/-
Other Criteria of NIT Silchar Recruitment
Higher Qualification: Candidates with higher qualification are not eligible to apply.
Batch: Candidates who have completed their degree/diploma between 2019 to 2023 are only eligible to apply.
Experience: Candidates with more than one year work experience are not eligible to apply.
Medical Fitness: The candidate should possess satisfactory health. Candidates finally selected will have to produce fitness Certificate from a Government Medical Officer or from Sr. Medical Officer of this institute at the time of joining. Final selection of the candidate depends upon his/her fulfilling health standards as prescribed in Apprentice Act, 1961 and apprentice Rule 1992 as amended from time to time.
