KAAC VFA Recruitment 2026 – Overview

The Central Selection Board, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Diphu, has released a recruitment advertisement for 49 Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) posts under the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, KAAC. The minimum educational qualification is HSSLC (Science) passed along with a one-year VFA course, and the last date of submission of application is 7 September 2026.

Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Band of ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 plus Grade Pay of ₹6,200, along with other admissible allowances. The application mode is offline, following the Standard Form published in Part-IX of the Assam Gazette.

Eligibility Criteria

•Professional Qualification: Must have successfully completed the One Year Training Course in elementary knowledge of Veterinary Science from the recognized School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Ghungoor, Silchar.

•Physical Standard: Must be of sound mental and physical health, free from organic defects, and must undergo medical examination before appointment.

ℹ Age Limit: Governed by the Assam Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Subordinate Rules, 2002, and determined based on the HSLC Certificate/Admit Card. Relaxation applies as per applicable Government rules.

Submit your application in the Standard Form as published in Part-IX of the Assam Gazette, duly filled with required testimonials/documents.

Address the application to The Member Secretary, Central Selection Board, KAAC, Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Assam – 782460.

Superscribe the envelope: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF VETERINARY FIELD ASSISTANT (VFA)”.

Affix one recent passport-size photo on the form, enclose another photo, and include a self-addressed stamped envelope (23 cm x 11 cm, ₹5 postal stamp) for communication.

Enclose self-attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets and testimonials, declaring them true copies of the originals.
