Assam Career: The Indian Army has officially released the Indian Army SSC Officer Recruitment 2026 Notification for the recruitment of 379 Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers under 67th SSC (Tech-Men) and 67th SSC (Tech-Women) Course – October 2026. Nationality Criteria
A candidate must be:
- A Citizen of India, OR
- A subject of Nepal, OR
- A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, or East African countries with the intention of permanent settlement in India

- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 27 Years
Date of Birth Range: Candidates must be born between 01 October 1999 and 30 September 2006 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification
Essential Qualification
- Candidates must have passed an Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline
OR - Candidates studying in the final year of Engineering are also eligible to apply
Important Note for Final-Year Candidates
- Proof of passing the Engineering Degree along with all semester mark sheets must be submitted by 01 October 2024
- Degree certificate must be produced within 12 weeks of commencement of training at PCTA
- Failure to do so will result in recovery of training cost, stipend, and allowances under the Additional Bond Agreement
Pay Scale & Allowances
Selected candidates will be appointed as Lieutenant and will receive:
- Pay Level: Level-10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)
- Military Service Pay (MSP): ₹15,500/month
- DA, HRA, TA, Uniform Allowance
- Free medical facilities
- Canteen (CSD) benefits
- Leave Travel Concessions (LTC)
