DEE LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2024

AssamCareer: Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam 2024 has recently invited application for the recruitment of 5550 Assistant Teacher Vacancy in Lower and Upper Primary Schools of Assam under the Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam. The online application will start from 2nd January 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through online mode. https://dee.assam.gov.in.

Now candidates with Graduation and Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) may apply for Assistant Teacher (LP) posts; for which last date extends till 13th February 2024, 10 PM.

Name of Post: Assistant Teachers

Type of Schools: Lower and Upper Primary

Number of Vacancy: 5550 posts

• LP Teacher: 3800 posts
• UP Teacher: 1750 posts

Name of Department: Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam

Pay Scale: PB-2 of ₹ 14,000 – ₹ 70,000 plus Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Eligibility Criteria for DEE LP UP Teacher Recruitment:

Nationality: Candidates must be a Permanent Resident of Assam.

Age Limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2023.

Age Relaxation: The Category-wise age relaxation for different categories are as mentioned below:

• Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
• OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
• SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 years
• Persons with Disability (PwD): 10 years

Small Family Norms: No person having more than two living children on or after 01/01/2021 from a single or multiple partners shall be eligible for appointment as per the Govt. policy on Small Family Norms.

Medium of Instruction: Either Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates shall match the medium of instruction of the school, wherein the candidate wishes to apply.

ATET/ CTET Qualification: The candidates who have passed ATET/ CTET for LP/ UP will be eligible for applying.

Educational Qualification: Post-wise educational qualifications for each posts are as mentioned below.

Assistant Teacher (LP):

Qualification: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Assistant Teacher (UP):

Qualification: Graduate from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education).

Science Teacher (UP):

Qualification: B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education).

Hindi Teacher (UP)

Qualification: Graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education).
