🔔 Applications Open: Cotton University PG Admission 2026 online registration started from 12 June 2026. Last date to register: 21 June 2026 at 11 PM. Last date for form submission with payment: 22 June 2026 at 11 PM. CPGEE-2026 entrance exam tentatively in the first week of July 2026.

✅ Cotton Graduate Reservation: Cotton University reserves 50% of seats for Cotton Graduates of the 2025 or 2026 batch in all programmes except MCom, MLISc, and LLM. All seats in MCom, MLISc, and LLM are in the Open Category only.

📌 Note: For MSc MBBT, the 10 DBT-sponsored Open Category seats are filled based on GAT-B 2026 scores (DBT, Government of India norms), not CPGEE-2026. Cotton Graduate seats for MBBT are filled through CPGEE-2026.

⚠ Multiple Programme Applicants: If you are applying for more than one PG programme, you must submit a separate application and pay ₹1,200 separately for each programme. No change in CPGEE-2026 schedule will be made in case of date/time clashes between programmes.

⚠ Important: Caste/Tribe certificates from other states are NOT valid. Only certificates issued by the Competent Authority under the Government of Assam are accepted.

Register using your valid Email ID and mobile number. Complete the one-time registration process before 21 June 2026 at 11:00 PM.

Log in with your credentials and fill in the online application form carefully, following all on-screen instructions.

Upload required documents — photograph, signature, and relevant certificates as specified in the notification.

Pay the application fee of ₹1,200/- online through the web portal. Keep the payment receipt for your records.

Submit the completed application form before 22 June 2026 at 11:00 PM. Take a printout of the submitted form for future reference.

⚠ No Offline Submission. Applications can only be submitted online. To apply for multiple programmes, submit a separate application with separate ₹1,200 payment for each programme.

The registration window closes on 21 June 2026 at 11 PM. The completed application form with fee payment must be submitted by 22 June 2026 at 11 PM.

The application fee is ₹1,200/- for all candidates, including Cotton University graduates. Payment must be made online at the time of registration. For each additional programme, a separate ₹1,200 fee is required.

CPGEE-2026 stands for Cotton Post-Graduate Entrance Examination 2026. It is an MCQ-based written test (Test-Booklet + OMR) conducted by Cotton University for admission to PG programmes. Marking scheme: +4 for correct, –1 for wrong. Tentatively scheduled in the first week of July 2026.

Candidates with more than 3 years of study gap — those who passed their qualifying exam before 2023 — are not eligible. However, this restriction does not apply to the LLM programme.

MSc MBBT has 20 total seats. The 10 Cotton Graduate seats are filled through CPGEE-2026. The 10 DBT-sponsored Open Category seats are filled based on GAT-B 2026 scores as per DBT, Government of India norms.

Yes, you can apply for more than one programme. However, you must submit a separate application form and pay ₹1,200 separately for each programme. Note that no change in the CPGEE-2026 exam schedule will be made for candidates with clashing exam dates across programmes.
