1. Constable (Grade III)

Pay Scale: Pay Band-2, ₹ 14,000-60,500 plus Grade Pay of ₹ 5,600.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Other Qualification: Candidates must possess Home Guard Certificate or Minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate. (for candidates except Ex-Servicemen). Pl note that the persons having H.S.L.C. passed certificate but not possessing Home Guards Training Certificate or minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate are not eligible to apply.
2. Dresser
Number of Vacancy: 2 posts
Category-wise vacancy:

Pay Scale: Pay Band-2, ₹ 14,000-60,500 plus Grade Pay of ₹ 5,000.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Other Qualification:
A) 02 (two) years experience certificate on Dresser (Medical) work from a Govt. recognized Institute.
B) Trade skill including knowledge on contamination, sterilization and disinfection of instruments, preparation of chlorine solution, antiseptic & aseptic condition, procedure of decontamination, Cleaning & Bandaging wounds and other affected body parts.
Eligibility Criteria of Civil Defence and Home Guards Recruitment
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2024. Candidate must be born on or before 1st January 2006 and on or after 1st January 1984.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

Note: For the purpose of determining the age limit, the SLPRB will accept only the date of birth recorded in the Admit Card/ Certificate of HSLC or equivalent examination issued by a recognized education Board. No other documents relating to age such as horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporations, service records and the like will be accepted.
