Eligibility Criteria: As per UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualification for appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards of Higher Education, 2018 (No F.1-2/2017 (ECPS) and up to date amendment of the said Act including 2nd amendment of the said Regulation, 2023.
Other Criteria of BSSRV Recruitment
Citizenship: The applicant must be a citizen of India.
Fitness: He / She must be medically fit both in mind and in body – a certificate duly signed by the District Medical Officer, Golaghat District or any competent Registered Medical Officer, approved by the Vice-Chancellor, shall have to be produced by any person who has been appointed as a Teacher, before he / she is allowed to join. Provided that in the case of a person already in service of the Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya, such a Medical Certificate shall not be required.
Character Certificate: A certificate about good character from the Head of the Institution last attended or served shall ordinarily accompany an application for any post of a Teacher if he / she is not already in service of the University.

About Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya
Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya has been established by the Government of Assam under the Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya Act 2020. Prof. Jyoti Prasad Saikia has been appointed as the first Vice Chancellor of the university. The university has been allotted land in Rangajan under Morongi Revenue Circle of Golaghat District.
Presently, the office of the Vice Chancellor is run from Golaghat Engineering College premises. The mission and vision of the university are to develop global citizens through a holistic learning process, and endeavouring to turn it into a hub of multidisciplinary research and academic excellence for all its stakeholders.
