Educational Qualification:
Medical Lab Technology: MD (Path)/MD (Biochemistry) / MD (Micro) with two years working experience or Candidates bearing qualifications in MSc (MLT)/MSc (Medical Microbiology)/MSc(Biochemistry)/MSc(Life Science) with two years working experience may also apply. Desirable: PhD in relevant subject as mentioned in the minimum requirement of education qualification.
Bachelor of Physiotherapy: Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy (B. PT./ B. Th. P/B. P. Th.), Masters in Physiotherapy (M. P. Th / M. Th. P. /M. Sc. P. T/M. PT.) with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from a recognized University). As per the NCAHP guidelines.
Agriculture: As per ICAR/Govt. of Assam norms.
Applied Science: As per UGC Regulations on Minimum. Qualification for appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards of Higher Education, 2018 (No F.1-2/2017 (EC/PS) and up to date amendment of the said Act including 2nd amendment of the said Regulation, 2023.
B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering/MCA: As per UGC / AICTE/ Govt. of Assam norms.
Microelectronics and Semiconductor: As per UGC / AICTE norms.
Others: As per UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualification for appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards of Higher Education, 2018 (No F.1-2/2017 (EC/PS) and up to date amendment of the said Act including 2nd amendment of the said Regulation, 2023 OR Relevant regulations of AICTE as applicable.

About Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya
Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya has been established by the Government of Assam under the Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya Act 2020. Prof. Jyoti Prasad Saikia has been appointed as the first Vice Chancellor of the university. The university has been allotted land in Rangajan under Morongi Revenue Circle of Golaghat District.
Presently, the office of the Vice Chancellor is run from Golaghat Engineering College premises. The mission and vision of the university are to develop global citizens through a holistic learning process, and endeavouring to turn it into a hub of multidisciplinary research and academic excellence for all its stakeholders.
