Assam HS Result Rechecking 2025
AssamCareer: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division II, declared the Assam HS Final Examination 2025 results on 30th April 2025, with a total of 302,613 students appearing for the exam and 247,462 successfully passing. On the same day, ASSEB released an official notification announcing the launch of the “Punarikshan” process for re-checking and reassessment of answer scripts, allowing students who are not satisfied with their results to apply online through the ASSEB Answer Script Rechecking Portal.
The portal will be live starting from 3rd May 2025, and students will have a 15-day window from that date to submit their applications for rechecking. This process ensures transparency and provides candidates with an opportunity to verify the accuracy of their evaluations and resolve any potential calculation errors.

Salient features of Assam HS Result Rechecking
Here is a number of important points regarding Assam HS Result Rechecking 2025.
The candidate shall note that the Re-Checking of the Answer Script shall not mean Re-Evaluation of the Answer Scripts. Re-checking shall include the following points:
A. Re-totaling of marks awarded by the examiner.
B. Assessment of Answer(s) which has/have been left out unevaluated.
C. Correction of wrong entry of marks in any manner/nature.
➢ The results of rechecking will be informed to the applicant through a notification within 30 days from the last date of receipt of the application.
➢ The marksheets/ certificates to the candidates, in case of any change, will be issued on submission of the original marksheets/ certificates in the board’s office through the head of the concerned school, with the intimation of the head of the institution.
➢ No such marksheets/ certificates will be sent directly to the school/ candidate or through any other agency.
➢ The Results of Re-checking will be declared within 30 days from the last date of receipt of application, by Official website.
➢ Scanned copy of Answer Script will be sent to the applied candidates through E-mail given by the candidate at the time of Application.
Application Fee of ASSEB Rechecking Form
Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹ 500/- per subject for the rechecking of answer scripts and obtaining a scanned copy of their answer scripts .
Processing fee has to be paid through online mode only.
