The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), on behalf of DHS (FW) Assam, has released the official notification for Assam ANM Admission 2026 to fill 369 seats across 11 government nursing training schools. Eligible female candidates who have passed 10+2/HS and are between 17 to 35 years of age can submit their applications online through the official SSUHS portal from September 15, 2026, to September 27, 2026. Selection will be based on a 100-mark entrance examination scheduled for October 11, 2026.

Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has issued the official notification for the ANM Entrance Examination, 2026 for admission into government ANM training schools of Assam. The admission process covers 369 seats for the session 2026-27. Eligible female candidates can submit their online applications from 15 September to 27 September 2026.
The entrance examination will be held on 11 October 2026 (Sunday), from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Selection is based purely on merit in this single-paper exam — there is no personal interview.

No. Admission to the ANM course is restricted to female candidates only.
Candidates must be 17 to 35 years old as on 31 December 2026. The upper limit is relaxed to 42 years for Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers and trained dais.
