SSUHS GNM Admission 2025

Assam Career: Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has released the official admission notification for admission into GNM courses under Directorate of Health Service, Govt. of Assam in both Govt. and private GNM Training institutes for the session 2025-2026. For this purpose, an entrance examination – GNM Entrance Examination (GNMEE), 2025 will be conducted. The online application process for admission in SSUHS GNM courses is going to start from 13th May 2025. Interested and eligible female candidates may submit their online applications here for these GNM courses.

Eligibility Criteria of SSUHS GNM Admission:

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 17 years to 35 years.

Age Relaxation: There is no age bar for RANM/ RLHV.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess anyone of the following educational qualification to be eligible for getting admitted to GNM course.

A. 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable. Three (core elective) subject marks may be taken for calculating the percentage of marks excluding the marks in English. Also, it has to be ensured the candidate has pass marks in English.

B. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the schools recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

C. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre.

D. Registered ANM with pass marks.

ANM Registration: Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.

Physical Fitness: Students must be medically fit.

Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India.

PRC: Permanent Resident Certificate is mandatory for admission in the Govt. Institutes of Assam.

Duration of exam: 3 Hours

Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions

Number of MCQs: 100 MCQs

Total marks: 100 Marks (1 mark for each correct answer).

Negative marking: There will be no negative marking.
