Governor Assam’s Pratibha Protsahan Yojana
In a remarkable stride towards empowering the youth of Assam, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, The Hon’ble Governor of Assam, has launched a ground-breaking financial assistance programme on 17th September, 2024, specifically designed for aspirants of the UPSC Civil Services Examination. This initiative aims to provide financial support and high-quality coaching to deserving candidates, enabling them to excel in their pursuit of becoming civil servants.
Under the initiative of Raj Bhavan, Assam “Governor Assam Pratibha Protsahan Yojana 2025” free coaching will be provided for candidates aspiring to appear for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. This opportunity can be availed by selected candidates from across Assam through a Talent Search Examination. A total of 10 selected candidates will receive free coaching in New Delhi.

Scholarship amount:
➲ The scholarship shall cover the cost of coaching fees, accommodation, and meals associated with the direct mode coaching program. Any additional costs, expenses, or personal requirements beyond those covered under the scholarship shall be the sole responsibility of the candidates.
➲ Payments will be made directly to the coaching institutes; no direct disbursements will be made to candidates. The scholarship is non-transferable and cannot be deferred or converted into cash.

Selection Process of Governor Assam’s Pratibha Protsahan Yojana
Selection Process of Governor Assam’s Pratibha Protsahan Yojana 2025 consists of following stages.
Selection will be based on performance in the Screening Test, Group Counselling & Personal Interview on an all-Assam basis conducted by Raj Bhavan, Assam. Shortlisting for the written exam will be based on candidates’ Class 12 and Graduation percentage.
The Written Screening Test of about 4000 shortlisted candidates, based on marks scored in Class 12 and Graduation, will be held in Guwahati, Tezpur, Jorhat, Silchar, Dibrugarh, Kokrajhar, Diphu, Baksa & Haflong on 24th August, 2025.
The Group Counselling & Personal Interviews will be held in Guwahati only
