HPCL Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Overview

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 358 Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Engineering) positions across locations spread across India for a period of one year as per provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961. Online applications are open from 15 July 2026 to 31 July 2026.

This is a no-fee apprenticeship opportunity with a monthly stipend of ₹25,000/- for engineering graduates in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines. The training slots are spread across 25 States/UTs with the highest concentration in Maharashtra (64), Uttar Pradesh (37), Gujarat (32), and Tamil Nadu (20).

⚠ NATS 2.0 Registration Mandatory: Only candidates who are registered and approved on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) web portal and by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) will be considered for selection. Complete your NATS registration before applying to HPCL.

Eligibility Criteria – HPCL Apprentice 2026

•Nationality: Indian citizens only.

•Qualification: Engineering Graduate in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation with minimum 60% aggregate (all semesters/years) for Gen/OBC-NC candidates and 50% aggregate for SC/ST/PwBD (VH/HH/OH/MD) candidates.

•Age: 18 to 25 years as on 31 July 2026. Relaxation: SC/ST +5 years, OBC +3 years, PwBD +10 years.

•NATS 2.0 Registration: Must be registered and approved on the NATS 2.0 portal by Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) before applying.
