AAI NER Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Overview
The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Head Quarters – North Eastern Region, Guwahati has released an official notification for the recruitment of 95 Graduate, Diploma, and Trade (ITI) Apprentice posts at various airports in the North Eastern Region. Online applications are accepted from 7 July 2026 to 28 July 2026 exclusively through the NATS and NAPS portals.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineering graduates, diploma holders, and ITI-qualified candidates from the North Eastern Region to gain structured apprenticeship training at one of India’s premier central government aviation organisations. There is no application fee, and only Indian Nationals from NER are eligible.
⚠ Important: Only candidates who passed their Degree/Diploma in 2024 or after 2024 are eligible. Candidates must register on NATS or NAPS portals before applying to the AAI NER establishment. Applications only through NATS/NAPS — no other mode accepted.

Eligibility Criteria – AAI NER Apprentice 2026
•Domicile: Only Indian Nationals from the North Eastern Region (NER) are eligible.
•Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 26 years as on 28 July 2026. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Govt. of India guidelines.
•Qualification Year: Candidates who passed Degree/Diploma in 2024 or after 2024 are eligible.
•Graduate/Diploma: Full-time (regular) 4-year Degree or 3-year Diploma in Engineering in Civil / Electrical / Electronics / IT / CS / Mechanical — recognised by AICTE, GOI.
•ITI Trade: ITI / NCVT certificate in Fitter, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), or Electrician trades from institutions recognised by AICTE, GOI.
⚠ Part-time / Distance education degrees/diplomas are NOT eligible. Only full-time regular courses are accepted. Candidates who passed before 2024 are also NOT eligible.
