The Indian Navy has released the official notification for Agniveer (MR) Recruitment 2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. Eligible unmarried male and female candidates can apply online for the 01/2027 and 02/2027 batch through the official recruitment portal.

Selected candidates will undergo training at INS Chilka, Odisha, which is the primary training establishment for Indian Navy sailors.
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements.
Age Limit
Agniveer 01/2027 Batch
Candidates must be born between
01 December 2004 – 31 May 2009 (both dates inclusive).
Agniveer 02/2027 Batch
Candidates must be born between
01 May 2005 – 31 October 2009 (both dates inclusive).
Marital Status
Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.
Important conditions:
- Candidates must submit an unmarried certificate at the time of enrollment.
- Agniveers are not allowed to marry during the four-year service period.
- If a candidate marries during service or is already married, they will be dismissed from service.
Educational Qualification

- Passed Matriculation (Class 10) with minimum 50% aggregate marks
- Qualification must be from a recognized board approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of India
