SSC JE Recruitment 2026 – Overview
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 1,748 Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical) posts, along with JE Telecom and Scientific Assistant roles, across various Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Government of India, including CPWD, BRO, MES, Central Water Commission, DGQA-Naval, and the India Meteorological Department.
Selected candidates will be placed in Group B, Level-6 of the 7th CPC pay matrix (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400). Selection is through a Computer Based Examination (Paper-I & Paper-II) followed by document verification and medical examination.
✅ No Fee for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM! The application fee is just ₹100 for other candidates and completely waived for SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
