Assam Career: Board of Secondary Education, Assam every year conducts HSLC Exam for all students who are studying in class 10th for that session. The students who are unable to pass the main exam conducted by SEBA, Assam will get another chance to clear their HSLC by appearing in the SEBA Compartmental Exam. SEBA Routine Important Notes
| 1. Five minutes extra time is allowed from 8:55 AM to 9:00 AM in the Morning shift and 1:25 PM to 1:30 PM in the Afternoon shift to read the Question Paper only. The Officer-in-Charge will arrange the distribution of Question Papers accordingly. |
| 2. Modern Indian Languages (MIL): Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, Manipuri, Hmar, Nepali, Mizo, Khasi, Garo, Kabri & Urdu. |
| 3. Elective Languages (Time 3 hours) and In Lieu Languages (Time 2 hours): There will be a common Question paper with groups A and B for each Language viz,- Assamese (E), Hindi (E), Manipuri (E) and Santhali (E) irrespective of Elective or Lieu Language. |
| 4. Candidates offering Elective subject will have to appear in both Groups A and B while In Lieu Language the candidates will have to appear in Group A only, which will be treated as Assamese (IL), Hindi (IL), Manipuri (IL) and Santhali (IL) respectively. |
