AssamCareer: State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam is going to release the Admit Card of Pre Entry Test (PET) 2024 shortly for admission into 2- Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course.

Candidates who submitted online application for SCERT, Assam D.El.Ed. Admission 2024 must appear Pre-Entry Test (PET), for which candidates can now download their Admit card form the SCERT website (www.scertassam.co.in). 

As per latest official notification by SCERT Assam, the SCERT PET 2024 will be scheduled to be held on 8th September 2024.

Syllabus of D.El.Ed Pre-Entry Test

The State Educational Research and Training Council will conduct an examination to select meritorious candidates for admission to the two-year diploma in elementary education. In this section, we have provided the syllabus of this PET exam for ease of our website users and the candidates for this exam.

The test will have two sections, Section I and Section II. The question pattern and marking according to these sections will be as follows.

Total Marks: 100 Marks

Total Time: 2 Hours

Type of Question: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

Number of Questions: 100 Questions

Negative Marking: For every incorrect answer, a 0.25 mark shall be deducted from the total marks secured by the candidate. More than one answer given to a question will be treated as an incorrect answer.

General English: vocabulary, tenses, verbs, prepositions, comprehension, voice change, narration, adverbs, synonyms, antonyms.

Art and culture, Everyday Science, World Organizations, Geography of India, Educational Commissions and Committees, New Educational Initiatives, and Educational Organizations.

Reasoning: Logical and analytical reasoning, pattern etc.
