West Assam Milk Producers’ Cooperative Union Limited (WAMUL), popularly known as Purabi Dairy, has released an official employment notification for the recruitment of 9 Assistant IV (Dairy) and Assistant-I Dairy (Operator) posts on a contract basis, for an initial period of 2 years. These are technical operations and maintenance roles at WAMUL’s dairy plants, with CTC ranging from ₹3.92 Lakhs to ₹5.71 Lakhs per annum (negotiable and commensurate with qualification and experience). 💰 CTC includes P.F. & other Fixed/Variable Components, and is negotiable and commensurate with qualification and experience. Both posts are based at Dairy Plants under WAMUL’s area of operations.
Eligibility Criteria – Post-wise
1. Assistant IV (Dairy) – 1 Post
Qualification: Full-time 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed educational Institute/University.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of full-time operation and maintenance experience in manufacturing industry (preferably Dairy/Food Industry).
Age Limit: Not above 33 years as on 1st October 2026. Relaxation up to 3 years may be given for extraordinary/outstanding candidates or those with relevant experience.
Location: Dairy Plant (under WAMUL area of operations)
Salary: CTC ₹5.71 Lakhs per annum (including P.F. & other Fixed/Variable Components, negotiable).
2. Assistant-I Dairy (Operator) – 8 Posts
Qualification: Must have passed ITI in Electrical Trade/Fitter Trade/Electronics Mechanic Trade from an NCVT/SCVT approved institute.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of full-time relevant experience in manufacturing industry (preferably Dairy/Food Industry).
Age Limit: Not above 28 years as on 1st October 2026. Relaxation up to 3 years may be given for extraordinary/outstanding candidates or those with relevant experience.
Location: Dairy Plant (under WAMUL area of operations)
Salary: CTC ₹3.92 Lakhs per annum (including P.F. & other Fixed/Variable Components, negotiable).
Additional Skills/Desirables – Assistant-I Dairy (Operator)
•Experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility, preferably food and dairy industry.
•Technical Experience: Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC and Refrigeration System.
•Must be able to work in a wet environment with moderate to high noise volume.
•Knowledge in ISO, 5S, GMP, Kaizen, etc.
•Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
•Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
•Delivering results under crisis by maintaining calm and tactfulness.
•A willingness to learn.
•Strong interpersonal skills.
