The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 30 Officer Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) posts. Salary & Pay Scale
Officer Grade ‘A’ – 17-Year Pay Scale
₹62,500–3,600(4)–76,900–4,050(7)–1,05,250–EB–4,050(4)–1,21,450–4,650(1)–1,26,100
Basic pay progresses through defined increments over 17 years of service, plus DA, HRA, and other allowances as per PFRDA rules.

Eligibility Criteria – Stream-wise Qualification
1. General – 25 Posts
Master’s Degree/PG Diploma (min. 2 years) in any discipline; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Law; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; OR ACA/FCA (ICAI); OR ACS/FCS (ICSI); OR ACMA/FCMA (ICMAI); OR CFA (CFA Institute).
2. Research – 2 Posts
Master’s Degree/PG Diploma (min. 2 years) in Economics/Commerce/Business Administration/Econometrics/Quantitative or Financial or Mathematical Economics/Business Economics/Business Analytics; OR in Finance/Quantitative Finance/International Finance/Project & Infrastructure Finance; OR in Statistics/Data Science/AI/Machine Learning/Big Data Analytics; OR Master’s in Mathematics with a 1-year PG Diploma in Statistics or related subjects.
3. Actuary – 2 Posts
Graduation from a recognized University/Institute AND pass or exemption in all seven (7) ‘Core Principles’ subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) Examination.
4. Official Language (Rajbhasha) – 1 Post
Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation with English as a subject at Bachelor’s level; OR Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/English/Economics/Commerce with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor’s level; OR Master’s Degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation.

Selection Process
Selection is conducted in three stages – Phase I, Phase II, and Interview. Candidates must qualify at each stage to proceed.

Phase III – Interview
Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview, conducted in Hindi or English as per the candidate’s choice. Final selection is based on the prescribed weightage of Phase II and Interview marks, as specified in the official notification.
