Discipline wise vacancy:
- Accounts: 20 Posts
- Actuarial: 5 Posts
- Engineering: 15 Posts
- Engineering (IT): 20 Posts
- Medical: 20 Posts
- Legal: 20 Posts
Pay: Basic pay of ₹ 50925/- in the scale of ₹ 50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765 and other admissible allowance as applicable.
Eligibility Criteria of Oriental Insurance Recruitment
Age Limit: 21 to 30 years as on 31.12.2023.
Age Relaxation: Permissible relaxations in upper age limit for different categories are as under:
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
- PwBD: 10 years
Educational Qualification:
Accounts:
B.Com with 60% (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized University OR
MBA from a recognized University OR
CA from ICAI OR
Cost and Management Accountant from ICWAI
Actuarial:
Graduation in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Actuarial Science with 60% (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized University OR
Master’s degree in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Actuarial Science with 60% (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized University OR
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with passing / credit of a minimum of 4 papers from Indian Institute of Actuaries of India/ Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. Out of the mandatory minimum of 4 papers passed/credited, the candidate should compulsorily have passed the following two papers
➲ CS2 (Risk Modelling and Survival Analysis).
➲ CM2 (Financial Engineering and Loss Reserving)
Engineering (IT):
B.E./B.Tech in IT/Computer Science/Electronics& Communication (ECE) with 60% (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized University OR
M.E./M.Tech in IT/ Computer Science/ Electronics& Communication (ECE) OR
MCA with 60% (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized University.
Engineering:
B.E./B.Tech in Automobile/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Chemical/ Power/ Industrial/Instrumentation Engineering with 60% (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized University OR
M.E./M.Tech in Automobile/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Chemical/ Power/ Industrial/ Instrumentation Engineering.
Medical:
MBBS/BDS from a recognised University OR
Equivalent foreign degree recognized by the National Medical Council, NCISM, and Dental Council of India, as applicable, and registration from the same institute as on the date of the scheduled interview.
Legal: Law Graduate with 60% (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized University.
