Eligibility Criteria of IBPS PO / MT Recruitment

Age Limit: The candidate’s age should be between 20 years and 30 years as of 1st July 2025. Candidates should have been born between 2nd July 1995 and 1st July 2005 (both dates inclusive).

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 5 years for ST candidates, and 10 years for PwD candidates. For more details, please refer to the official notification.

Educational Qualification: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark–sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

IBPS PO MT Exam Syllabus:

Candidates who have submitted online applications against this recruitment of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will have to appear in two online selection based examinations. The details of those two selection exams are given below along with the syllabus.

Preliminary Examination:

The Preliminary Examination consisting of an Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. This exam will be of 1 hour duration with 3 tests as follows. Candidates will have to qualify in each of the three tests of the Preliminary Examination by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Based on the performance of this exam candidates will be selected for the main exam.
