Assam Career: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) 2025 has recently released an employment notification to conduct online examination for the next Common Recruitment Process (CRP-XV) to recruit 10277 Clerical Cadre posts. Eligibility Criteria of IBPS Clerk Recruitment
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 20 years to 28 years as on 1st August 2025. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1997 and not later than 01.08.2005 (both dates inclusive)
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be 3 years for OBC/MOBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, 5 years for ST candidates and 10 years for PwD candidates. For more details, check the official notification.
Educational Qualification: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/ UT: Candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply.
Exam Centre (Assam): Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar, Tezpur.

Selection Process of IBPS Clerk Recruitment
Candidates who have submitted online applications against this recruitment of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will have to appear in two online selection based examinations. The details of those two selection exams are given below along with the syllabus.
Preliminary Examination
Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main examination.
