Assam TET Result 2025
The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam, successfully conducted the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) cum Recruitment Test 2024 on 19th January 2025 for the recruitment of Graduate Teacher (GT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 9,717 vacancies, including 8,230 Graduate Teacher positions (Arts, Science, Hindi, and Sanskrit) and 1,487 Post Graduate Teacher posts in various government and provincialized secondary schools across Assam. The examination was conducted in two phases across nine districts of the state to ensure smooth execution.
The results of the Assam GT/PGT TET cum Recruitment Test 2024 are scheduled to be announced on 23rd June 2025. Candidates who appeared in the exam will be able to check their individual results and download their mark sheets from the official website of the Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam. Additionally, result-related updates and direct links will also be available on this page for the convenience of candidates. The DSE is targeting to complete the entire recruitment process by October 2025, paving the way for timely appointments in secondary educational institutions across Assam.

Assam TET cum Recruitment Test, 2024 was held on 19/01/2025, for the posts of Graduate Teacher and Post Graduate Teacher under the Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam. However, 30th May 2025 for this test is yet to be declared. Candidates may regularly check this page for Assam TET Result related updates.
An Online Portal to be made live from 4thFebruary, 2025 at 11.30 A.M to 20th February, 2025 to facilitate the interested candidates to raise their objection against the Answer Key of any question on payment of ₹ 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) per question. Objection must be supplemented with proper justification and any objection without justification will be treated as null and void. If the justification for challenging a particular Answer key is found valid by the expert Committee constituted to examine the challenges, then the amount of ₹ 500/- will be refunded to the source from where the amount was paid.
Further, this is to inform that the softcopies of all 6 sets of Question paper will be made available on the website of the Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam. The answer keys of these 6 sets will also be made available in the same website on 4th February, 2025 at 11.30 A.M.

As per the latest official notification, the soft copies of all six sets of question papers used in the Assam GT/PGT TET Recruitment Exam, conducted on 19th January 2025, are available on the official website on 4th February 2025 at 11:30 AM. The notification also confirms that the official answer keys for all sets of question papers will be released on the same day.

Preparation of Assam GT/PGT TET Merit List
Preparation of GT/ PGT Merit list will follow below mentioned criteria.
No of Qualified Candidate: The number of qualified candidates in the TET cum Recruitment Test shall be in the ratio of 1:1 of the vacancies advertised.
Merit List: In case, any post remains vacant after publication of the first Merit List as per the ratio of 1 : 1, then maximum 2 (two) more numbers of Merit List will be published. There shall be separate Merit List Subject-wise in case of Post Graduate Teacher.
Criteria of Merit List: The Merit List shall be prepared in the manner as proposed below:-
The marks secured in the TET cum Recruitment Test by the candidates of a particular subject shall be filtered out from the main list into a separate merit list of the particular subject. Similar process shall be adopted for all other subjects.
