The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam successfully conducted the Teachers Eligibility Test cum Recruitment Test (TET-RT) 2024 on 19th January 2025 for the recruitment of Graduate Teachers (GT) and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) across government and provincialized secondary schools in Assam.
This highly competitive TET cum Recruitment Test (TCR) – 2024 aimed to fill a total of 9,717 teaching vacancies, including 1,487 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts and 8,230 Graduate Teacher (Arts, Science, Hindi, and Sanskrit) posts. Thousands of candidates appeared in the exam, aspiring to secure a position in Assam’s government secondary schools.
