Armed Forces Medical Services Recruitment Details
Name of post: Medical Officer
Number of Vacancy: 400 posts
Category-wise vacancy:
- Male: 300 posts
- Female: 100 posts
Pay Scale: Pay level 10B of Defence Pay Matrix of BP ₹ 61300 + MSP ₹ 15500 + HRA + NPA + Transport Allowance + Dress Allowance.
Eligibility Criteria of Armed Forces Medical Services Recruitment:
Age Limit: Candidate must not have attained the age of 30 years if holding an MBBS degree (only those born on or after 02 Jan 1996 are eligible) and 35 years if holding a PG degree (only those born on or after 02 Jan 1991 are eligible) as on 31 Dec 2025 respectively.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed final MBBS (Part I and II) exam in not more than two attempts and have also appeared in the NEET PG exam in either 2023 or 2024. Civilian doctors having a postgraduate degree do not need to take NEET PG again.
Registration: Candidates must have permanent registration with any State Medical Council, National Medical Commission (NMC), or Medical Council of India (MCI).
Internship Completion: Candidates must have completed their internship on or before March 31, 2025.
