1. Name of Post: Casual Editor
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation from a recognized University
- Degree / PG Diploma in Journalism with a duration of atleast one year from a recognized University / Institution or 5 years experience in reporting / editing work in print / electronic media
- Proficiency in Assamese language
Experience:
- Experience of journalistic work in Radio / TV (for degree or diploma holders in Journalism- reference clause 01(2))
- Knowledge of basic computer applications
Age Limit: Between 21-50 years as on 01.08.2022
2. Name of Post: Casual News Reader cum Translator
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation from a recognized University
- Proficiency in Assamese language
- Having a voice of good quality suited to broadcasting
Experience:
- Experience of journalistic work in Radio / TV
- Knowledge of basic computer applications
Age Limit: Between 21-50 years as on 01.08.2022
Selection Process of All India Radio Guwahati Recruitment:
Casual Editor: Written Examination to test news editing skills in Assamese language and translation from English to Assamese and vice-versa including knowledge of current affairs followed by interview for those who qualify the written examination
Casual News Reader cum Translator: Written Examination to test translation skills from English to Assamese and vice-versa including knowledge of Assamese language and current affairs followed by voice test and interview for those who qualify the written examination.

➢ The candidates are required to deposit application processing fee (non-refundable + GST 18%) at SBI Account No. 10566983491, IFSC-SBIN0000221 and submit the Transaction ID / Counter Foil along with the applications
- General category: ₹ 300/- + 18% GST
- SC /ST/OBC category: ₹ 225/- + 18% GST
