Eligibility Criteria – Post-wise
1. Superintending Research Scientist – 5 Posts (Grade C)
Qualification: Ph.D. in Chemistry with M.Sc. in Chemistry (min. 2 yrs, 60% marks); OR Ph.D. in Geology with Master’s in Geology/Applied Geology (min. 2 yrs, 60% marks); OR Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with Master’s in Chemical Engineering (min. 2 yrs, 60% marks); OR Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering with Master’s in Petroleum Engineering (min. 2 yrs, 60% marks).
Experience: Minimum 4 years of Post Qualification Relevant Work Experience.

2. Senior Officer (Mechanical) – 14 Posts (Grade B)
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering of minimum 4 years duration with minimum 65% marks (excluding Automation/Automobile/Industrial/Power/Manufacturing/Production/Mechatronics/Mining/Marine/Robotics Engineering, etc.).
Upper Age Limit: UR: 27 | OBC(NCL): 30 | SC: 32 | ST: 32 | EWS: 27

3. Senior Officer (Petroleum) – 4 Posts (Grade B)
Qualification: Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering/Technology of minimum 2 years duration with minimum 60% marks, and having Engineering at Graduation level.

4. Senior Accounts Officer / Senior Internal Auditor – 6 Posts (Grade B)

Selection Process of Oil India Limited Recruitment
The selection process consists of the following stages:
Grade B & C: Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Personal Interview.
Grade A: Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a Proficiency Test/Skill Test.
Medical Examination: Appointment of provisionally selected candidates is subject to medical fitness as per OIL’s physical fitness standards. Candidates must undergo a Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME) at OIL Hospital, Duliajan, Assam, or through a Government Medical Officer of at least Civil Surgeon rank, or an authorized medical officer at an OIL-empaneled hospital.
