BSNL JTO Recruitment 2026 – Overview
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL), one of India’s largest government-owned telecom companies, has released an official employment notification for the recruitment of 100 Junior Telecom Officer (JTO) – Telecom posts. Engineering graduates in eligible disciplines can apply online from 4 June 2026 to 4 July 2026.
Selected candidates will be placed in the IDA Pay Scale E-1 of ₹16,400 – ₹40,500/-. Selection is through a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by document verification and medical examination. There is no personal interview. CBT is tentatively scheduled for August 2026.

JTO (Telecom) – IDA Pay Scale E-1
₹16,400 – ₹40,500 / month
IDA (Industrial Dearness Allowance) Pay Scale E-1. In addition, eligible for DA, HRA, and other allowances as per BSNL rules. BSNL is a Central PSU offering job security with Government of India benefits.
💰 Estimated CTC: Including DA, HRA and perquisites, the estimated gross monthly emoluments for a BSNL JTO can range between ₹35,000 – ₹55,000+ per month depending on posting location and applicable allowances.

•B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent degree from a recognized University/Institution in: Telecommunications, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical, Information Technology (IT), or Instrumentation.

•M.Sc. in Electronics or M.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized University.

CBT Exam Pattern – BSNL JTO 2026
The Computer Based Test (CBT) consists of 3 sections with a total of 120 questions and 480 marks, to be completed in 3 hours:
