AssamCareer: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) 2025 has recently issued an official employment notification for the recruitment of 1543 Field Engineer & Field Supervisor Posts for engagement on fixed term contract basis for its ongoing as well as anticipated projects across different regions of POWERGRID as well as in its subsidiaries through POWERGRID Common FTE Written Test- 2025. The online application will start from 27th August 2025. POWERGRID Recruitment Details

1. Field Engineer (Electrical)
Number of Vacancies: 532
Educational Qualification: Full time B.E /B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical discipline or equivalent discipline from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks.
Post Qualification Experience: Should have one-year post qualification experience of Design/Engineering/ Construction/ Testing & commissioning, etc. in Rural Electrification (RE)/ Distribution Management System (DMS)/ Sub Transmission (ST)/ Transmission Lines (TLs)/ Sub-Stations (S/S), etc. Experience in PSU /Listed company particularly in power sector shall be preferred.

2. Field Engineer (Civil)
Number of Vacancies: 198
Educational Qualification: Full time B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil discipline or equivalent discipline from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks.
Post Qualification Experience: Should have one-year post qualification experience of Design/Engineering/ Construction/ Testing & commissioning, etc. in Rural Electrification (RE)/ Distribution Management System (DMS)/ Sub Transmission (ST)/ Transmission Lines (TLs)/ Sub-Stations (S/S), etc. Experience in PSU /Listed company particularly in power sector shall be preferred.

3. Field Supervisor (Electrical)
Number of Vacancies: 535
Educational Qualification: Full Time Diploma in Electrical or equivalent discipline from recognized Technical Board / Institute with minimum 55% marks. Higher technical qualification like B.Tech. / BE / M.Tech. /ME etc. with or without Diploma is not allowed.
Post Qualification Experience: Should have one-year post qualification experience of Design/Engineering/ Construction/ Testing & commissioning, etc. in Rural Electrification (RE)/ Distribution Management System (DMS)/ Sub Transmission (ST)/ Transmission Lines (TLs)/ Sub-Stations (S/S), etc. Experience in PSU /Listed company particularly in power sector shall be preferred.

4. Field Supervisor (Civil)
Number of Vacancies: 193
Educational Qualification: Full Time Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Technical Board / Institute with minimum 55% marks. Higher technical qualification like B.Tech. / BE / M.Tech. /ME etc. with or without Diploma is not allowed.
Post Qualification Experience: Should have one-year post qualification experience of Design/Engineering/ Construction/ Testing & commissioning, etc. in Rural Electrification (RE)/ Distribution Management System (DMS)/ Sub Transmission (ST)/ Transmission Lines (TLs)/ Sub-Stations (S/S), etc. Experience in PSU /Listed company particularly in power sector shall be preferred.

5. Field Supervisor (Electronics & Communication)
Number of Vacancies: 85
Educational Qualification: Full time Diploma in Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Information Technology or equivalent discipline from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 55% marks. Higher technical qualification like B.Tech. / BE / M.Tech. /ME etc. with or without Diploma is not allowed.
Post Qualification Experience: Should have one year post qualification experience of design/ engineering/ construction/ testing & commissioning/ operation & maintenance of Tele Communication System.

Other Criteria of POWERGRID Recruitment:

Age Limit: Candidates upper age must be upto 28 years as on 07.08.2024 .

Age Relaxation: Relaxation in Upper Age Limit is as mentioned below.

• OBC/ NCL: 3 years
• SC/ST: 5 years
• PwBD-UR/EWS: 10 years
• PwBD-OBC(NCL: 13 years
• PwBD-SC/ST: 15 years
